Why 50 million?

That’s simple.

50 million is the number which easily represented a clear majority in 23 of the last 28 elections. No matter how you look at it, it is a formidable bloc of voters, enough voters to capture majorities in both houses of Congress — the House of Representatives and Senate — and even offer a solid shot at the White House.

Besides, 50 million is just a ballpark figure.

A nice round number to get us started.

Wait a minute!  50 million?  Is that even possible?

That depends on YOU.  We have no magic wand.  We can’t make this happen by ourselves.

YOU need to get the ball rolling with our national referendum poll.

But we understand what you’re saying.

50 million is a lot of people!

Notice that at the end of the referendum poll, we ask you tell two people about what we’re doing.

Believe it or not, two is all it takes.

But they just can’t be anyone that pops into your head.

They must be individuals who like yourself are fed up with the way things are going in this country, who definitely want things to change, who maybe want to do something — even if they don’t know what that something is.

We know people are busy.  We understand you can’t ask your friends, neighbors, relatives to drop what they’re doing and join some political movement.

We respect that and have created a strategy which demands very little of you, or anyone you send our way.

Just remember.  We’re not asking for money.  We’re literally only asking for a few minutes here.

We respect your privacy, your time, your commitment to a hundred other things which you need to do just getting from one day to the next.

Our plan only requires your determination to stand strong and stand united.

If you can give us that, plus two more people who will do the same, we’ll get to 50 million.
